Birmingham Meet Up – Saturday 18th October – Suggestion

Posted on September 25th, 2014 by Kate

Hi All – the Staffordshire Hoard exhibition has been closed for a makeover, but will re-open on Friday 17th October.    For anyone who hasn’t seen it, it’s absolutely fascinating stuff – highly recommended. http://www.staffordshirehoard.org.uk/ Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery is two minutes walk from the meeting venue.  I would like to suggest that anybody who would like to take the opportunity to see this FREE exhibition while they are in Brum could meet me at 9.50am on the museum steps.  We could have a cuppa in the Edwardian Tea Room while we’re in there as well :-) To remind you, the meet-up starts at 12pm in the Club Room at the Old Joint Stock pub, 4 Temple Row West, B2 5NY – opposite St Philips Cathedral on Colmore Row. I am waiting for final numbers in order to arrange a dinner venue/time; so if you are coming but haven’t booked, please do so with Debbie ASAP – thanks! Note:
