This involved travelling in a sweltering hot June through fourteen counties, and ending up based in north London. It was time without hubby (boohoo!) seeing family and friends old and new (hooray!). The &#8220;old&#8221; friends were at a reunion and at a sports event. But for me the highlights were seeing several fellow-adoptees &#8211; my new &#8216;old friends&#8217;.
