Still trying to decide whether to come to the Birmingham meetup on Saturday 22nd September<\/a>?\u00a0 Can you let me know if you do wish to attend by Friday 7th September<\/a><\/b>.<\/span><\/div>\n
We have 10 people booked to attend so far including a new person.\u00a0 Who would have thought there are still Hong Kong-born adoptees out there seeking a sisterhood.\u00a0\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Venue: <\/b>Community Room, <\/b>John Lewis, Grand Central (above New St train station)<\/span><\/div>\n
Time: Officially 12pm<\/a>, but I will be there from 11am<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
Programme:\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
12:00 – 2pm<\/a> – Group activity & discussions – \u00a0<\/span><\/span>earlier start if everyone is there<\/span><\/div>\n
2pm<\/a> – Group lunch*<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n
3pm – 5pm<\/a> – Exhibitions at Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery and\/or Library of Birmingham – or whatever else people prefer<\/i><\/span><\/div>\n
5pm<\/a> – Mid Autumn Festival performances in Chinatown – the performances end at 8pm<\/a> with fireworks.\u00a0 I have to leave at 7pm<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

*<\/span> lunch – I propose to book a table in the Edwardian Tearoom in Birmingham Museum.\u00a0 Lunch will be approximately \u00a310 per person\u00a0+ drinks.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

Please note there are no drink making facilities in the community room so you will need to bring your own.\u00a0 There is a Boots and M&S in New St station plus loads of caf\u00e9s and restaurants which do takeaway drinks.\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n
