Speakers: Kate Roach, Barnardos and Maria Affinito, NCH Action for Children will deliver a joint presentation on the records held about babies and children adopted from Hong Kong under the ISS overseas adoption programme in the 1960’s. They will tell us what information is held, and the process for obtaining it.

And afterwards
Café Soya, Upper Dean Street, Birmingham

Costs:
CCC-B is allowing us to use the venue free of charge.
Refreshments & lunch will cost approximately £6 per head, payable in cash on registration. We will be able to give you an exact figure nearer the time.

We have booked a private room at Café Soya, with an unlimited buffet at £16.50 per head (children half price). Drinks are extra – people are responsible for their own drinks bill.

The space is one half of a larger room, and holds 30 people. If bookings exceed 30, we will ask the restaurant to reserve the whole party room for us.

Where to stay:
Some people have already booked accommodation at the Premier Inn, Birmingham Central East. This is just off Junction 6, M6. It is not walking distance to the meeting venue, but it is a quiet location.
